What is NOAC 2027?

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the flagship national event of the Order of the Arrow. Held every two to three years, it is Scouting’s second-largest national gathering, bringing together as many as 8,000 Arrowmen from all 50 states for a week of unparalleled fellowship, high-energy activities, world-class training, and inspirational shows.

Imagine:

Inspirational Evening Shows: Full-scale productions with theatrics, special effects, and uplifting messages to motivate and energize you.

Cutting-Edge Training: Over 100 courses and workshops on topics like lodge operations, advanced leadership, event planning, and outdoor ethics, and much more. You’ll bring back game-changing ideas for our lodge!

Brotherhood & Fellowship: Meet thousands of Arrowmen from across the nation, trade patches (a massive event in itself!), and forge friendships that will last a lifetime.

Campus Life: Experience what it’s like to live and dine on a major university campus for a week—a great preview of college life!

Competitions & Activities: Take part in everything from ceremonial evaluations and sports competitions to a conference-wide festival with games, special events, and amazing entertainment.

This is more than just a conference—it’s an unforgettable adventure and a chance to truly understand the scale and spirit of the Order of the Arrow.

You won’t want to miss your chance to be part of the Lodge contingent!

Ways to Attend

Youth Delegates:

Youth Arrowmen (under 21) can attend NOAC as a youth delegate (participant) with the lodge contingent. The lodge prioritizes youth slots on the contingent.

Adult Delegates:

Adults provide supervision and support to the youth in their NOAC experience. We cannot take more adults than youth on the contingent and we do not know how fast slots will fill up or if there will be a smaller quota.

NOAC Staff:

Both youth and adult Arrowmen can attend NOAC on staff. This is a great opportunity to attend and experience NOAC in a different way, while serving the conference. Arrowmen who have attended NOAC before are encouraged to apply for NOAC staff.

If you are planning to attend NOAC on staff, please do not register using the link below. You will register online at oa-scouting.org starting in October 2026.

Remote Delegate:

The past three NOACs have offered a remote delegate option for Arrowmen who are unable to attend in-person to attend virtually from home. Virtual delegates can view livestreams and recordings of some trainings, competitions, and the evening shows, get special conference merchandise, and more. Additional information about attending NOAC as a Remote Delegate will be available later.

Refund Policy

The Chattahoochee Lodge must commit financial resources to book travel, pay national conference fees, and purchase supplies for the trip. Please notify the NOAC Advisor at joekleinbsa@gmail.com immediately if you are no longer able to attend NOAC. If there is a replacement available to fill your spot, all monies paid will be refunded. Otherwise, the following guidelines will be used.

      • Before February 1 – All monies paid less the $100 national deposit will be refunded

      • After February 1 but prior to June 1– 100% of unspent monies paid will be refunded, less the $200 total deposit

      • June 1st - No Refunds will be given

Participants removed from the contingent due to violation of the conference or BSA policies will not receive a refund and may be responsible for their own housing and transportation home.

Estimated Contingent Fee:

$1,700/Delegate

(We are working on finalizing the fees/payment schedule and should have more on this soon.  Please note that National fees for this event are set at $750)

This fees apply to contingent delegates only. Staff and remote delegates do not follow these fees.

The Chattahoochee Lodge contingent fee includes:

    • National Conference Registration Fee – including five nights housing at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, five full days of program and training, meals, program and support materials, registration materials, insurance, admission to the evening shows.
